Wow. So much has happened over the weekend.
I have officially moved into my new apartment, and I am so. sore. The hardest part was moving Drew's insanely heavy piano, which I have vowed never to move again. The second hardest part was figuring out how my shower works... Anyway, I just have to unpack all the boxes and put everything away. So once that's finished (you know, in like a month), casa de Michelle (y Michelle) will be open to the public.
The best thing happened to me: I don't have to pay a deposit for my electricity. Once you're at that point in your life, you'll be proud too.
Drew and I joined our church yesterday. He's the pianist at Grace Baptist in China Springs and does a good job, I'd have to say. It's a wonderful little church (and by little, I mean 15-20 people in attendance), perfect for anyone who wants to get away from the commercialized and technology-ized aspects of the larger churches surrounding the Baylor bubble.
My sister's staying a whole week with me. She was originally supposed to stay only Friday-Monday, but now it seems that she's staying until next Sunday. So if anyone has any ideas on how to entertain a 12 year old, please let me know. I already have video games covered.
