My night last night...

Apr 24, 2010 13:46

I got home last from a miserable track meet where it was raining and cold and my shins hurt like a mother and I got 12 seconds over my best time.  Right as I took off running the 800, my right quad seized up on me and I thought, "WTF is going on?  It didn't hurt before!" and my knee was giving me grief and the brace was slipping off.  So, yeah.  ( Read more... )

Yeah. L.A. and NY fans are are annoying the shit outta me. They're like, "Oh, I hope they come here! OMG, what if they don't?" and it's like, DUH they're going to NY and L.A.! It's a guarantee, so for them to illegitimately be worried annoys the hell outta me because we're over here with legitimate concerns. It's like, "HEY, I LIVE OVER HERE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, so STFU!"

I hope everything works out for us. *prays*

Yeah, Chicago isn't exactly the middle of nowhere. XD
It'd be cool if they went there-- we could see each other! OMG, I'm so effing pumped I could fall over and shrivel up. I haven't been this excited since... the last time I saw them! XD Already seeing them once, it makes you anticipate it even more because you already know how crazy awesome they are live. I just... I'm so anxious/excited/nervous/about to explode that I can't think of anything else-- and thinking about them right now is driving me nuts! ARGH!

It's true. You can get some of the excitement from the DVD's and live reports, and the lives are almost what you see in both, but it can't beat the experience of actually being there. I remember seeing them live and what really caught me off guard were their bodies (that sounds so weird.) It was like... they were right in front of me, so close that if I really wanted to, I could jump on stage and touch them. I thought how weird that was compared to our usual state, where we're thousands of miles apart and I could never touch them. I also thought how 3-dimensional they looked (as thin and breakable-looking as they are.) I dunno if this makes any sense, but it was just the strangest feeling, knowing that the people who make all that awesome noise were right there, playing in that moment for you and not for some overseas crowd of strangers. So weird ( ... )

It is unique. It's really strange, because I planned out everything I would do when I would see D'espairsRay, but as soon as they start playing, you forget everything you were planning and you just... live. It's just that moment and nothing else-- you no longer carry the baggage of your life. It's just the most surreal and wonderful moment. Ah, I love D'espa so much. ♥

Yeah, I know what you mean. I kept telling myself not to get excited until the official dates came out but... that kinda fell apart yesterday because I was really expecting them to post 'em. I simply cannot take it anymore. I can't wait until I actually have the tickets in my hands so I can feel the security that I'm for sure going to see them.

AH! I wish they'd hurry up with the dates already! I think I'm gonna EXPLODE! *falls over*

Yeah, I was pretty agitated when there weren't any U.S. dates listed. Someone said something of the sort on a comment, and James (the dude who takes care of their fb) said it was because the U.S. dates haven't been confirmed yet. I suppose it might take anywhere from a couple hours to a couple weeks for that to happen, but I think it'll be sooner than later. I'm just... not sure how I'm going to handle the wait any longer. T__T

Ah, so you're planning to see X Japan, too? My mom wants to see them, but if it interferes with D'espairsRay, she doesn't mind missing them, LULZ. I've also been planning what to wear. I haven't gone shopping in over two years, so I guess it's about nigh time I get some new clothes so I won't look like shit at the D'espa concert.

What are you planning to wear? :D

Well, y'know D'espairsRay... never liking to do things the same way as everyone else, even if the other way proves more practical-- but, eh, whatever. XD

Ah, yes! I've seen all the different choices you posted on your journal, and I have to say, everything on their is sooooo cute. Seriously. I loved them all. It's gonna be a tough choice for you, my dear.

I have no idea WTF to wear. One thing I've learned from my concert experiences, though, is that suspenders certainly come in handy. I remember when I saw D'espairsRay back in '08, my pants kept slipping, so I just put my suspenders over my shoulders and, Ta-DAH! No more worries about mooning D'espa!

...but I have a feeling you're not worrying about that. XD
