Holy god, so an earthquake - a BIG ONE - just hit Hawai'i, mostly the Big Island. That's where my sister lives, because she goes to Hilo University. The earthquake that hit the island of Hawai'i was something like a 6.3 or a 6.5, with an aftershock something like 5.8???? DAMMIT. Buttloads of cell towers are down, so we haven't been able to get to Amanda yet, either. It's sounding to me that the side of the island most directly affected by the quake was Kona side (good, she lives on Hilo side) and also that there's not going to be any tsunami effects (great, that would SUCK) ... so. Scary though. Pray for her, okay?
