Two years ago today, at 2:00 p.m., I promised to be true to Ed in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I promised to love him and honor him all the days of my life.

It's still the best decision I ever made.

Our wedding photographer, Melissa, about whom I cannot say enough good things, finally finished retouching and posting the 249 pictures from our wedding in mid-May. Our photographer, Melissa Jaarsma, took some absolutely fantastic pictures of our wedding last weekend. Every day she's uploading a few more, and we've both been really happy with the results.

I decided to be difficult when it came to my flowers; I did not want roses, or anything really extravagant or fancy; I prefer wildflowers, daisies, sunflowers, etc. Our florist, Mary B.'s, was really helpful, though, and very easy to work with. This afternoon, Ed and I went to the Lehigh County Courthouse to apply for a marriage license. We had to go to Room 123.5. (I wonder why the marriage licensing is part of the Orphans' Court.)

Customer service is so uneven as to be annoying, often because you're never quite sure of the level of service you're likely to get. However, usually the more you pay for something, the better the customer service. It somehow doesn't seem quite fair, but it doesn't at all surprise me, the differences between what bridesmaids and the groomsmen in what they have to go through.

If nothing else, Valentine's Day gives me a chance to be publicly obnoxious (more so). I got some very nice perfume that I've had my eye on that I wore when we went out to dinner at Naked Fish Bistro, which was excellent.
