ha ha ha!
I wasn't sure about whether I was in the right frame of mind to read this or not [I like them in a bromance way]... but I have to say - thanks to your brilliant writing skills - that this has won me over :)
good job!

I like that I have power over you. (Man, that sounds creepy. But, you know what I mean! I'm glad you'll read a pairing because I wrote it.)

Thanks. :)

Yea, you finally wrote Liz/Pete! Was it weird?

A little. I do have fic bits that never went anywhere, so I am a bit more comfortable with it than I was when I first wrote some and thought, "This is not working!" and just left it to languish on my hard drive. But I did feel kind of strange about it, especially considering it was so overtly sexual, which is something I didn't write when I tried a bit of Liz/Pete before. Also, I do think part of my weirdness re: Liz/Pete is that I have been so OTP-ish about Jack/Liz. But now that I'm not so enthused with Jack/Liz as they are now, I'm getting more comfortable writing them with other people. I don't know how I feel about this, but that's another story.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Right now, I'm just kind of turned off from the whole show. Maybe that will change, but I hate that I feel this way when I used to like it so much.

I was thinking, and my three favorite sitcoms from a few years ago (30 Rock, The Office, and Weeds) are, well, not my favorites anymore. (And I'm actually least dissatisfied with The Office, despite the fact that I have probably complained about it over a longer period of time, because 30 Rock and Weeds just started to depress me. And both had an eerily similar drop-off in quality at the end of season four (including an unplanned pregnancy that I really wanted to be a fake-out!), which Weeds didn't recover from in season five. When this occurred to me, it seemed like a Sign of Doom about 30 Rock's season five, but I did have this realization in the middle of the night and no longer view it as prophetic.)

And, you know, I used to view my heavy leaning towards Jack/Liz as a failing of sorts that I did always feel more awkward about writing different dynamics, but now I really miss having that OTP-ness.
