Seriously, this is just incredibly adorable. I love how you manage to infuse these normal situations with the exact right amount of Lemon-Donaghy craziness. That whole Benjamin Button was perfect, and I love Jack's hypothetical title of Mr. I've Broken Up with Most of the Ladies in New York City..

This whole thing reminds me of a short story I read in high school. Basically, the author killed a character off in a very sad way. Then she stepped out of the story and told the readers, "Now, if you prefer, here is an alternate version of the story. After all, it isn't any less true than the first one." So, by the same token, shippy and fluffy fanfics aren't any less real than what happens on the show, since none of it *actually* happens.

Right??

This is true! I usually do feel okay with only getting the ending I want in fic, and I'm sure that will kick in here, eventually.
