Ok not really, but this was really hot and sweet that Jack thinks of ways to um pleasure her that she will really enjoy.

I love that scene, too. It's so... weirdly sexual, the way Baldwin says it, and Liz just cheerfully goes for it. (And don't forget, she didn't eat that whole thing! A dog took it. ;)

I love the whole mix of hot and goofy and adorable that Jack and Liz have going on.

It sounds like some sort of sexy inspirational message, which is probably how he meant it to come across.

Love it. Yes, he probably did.

Also! There's an interview with Michaela Watkins from SNL in the Improper Bostonian, which is this yuppieish free magazine here, and she has this to say, when asked who her favorite host is:

"Alec Baldwin and Neil Patrick Harris. I love the way Alec comports himself around the set. He really knows what he's doing. He's so smart. He's got an eye on each camera and knows exactly what's being shot when. I like a man who takes control."

Amen, sister. Also, this is the third interview I've read about recently where an SNL person says Alec is the best host. And I kind of feel like he can't be that much of a jerk if so many people like having him around.

I have heard a lot of people over the years praise Baldwin as one of the best hosts, which pleases me. Here's my thoughts about Alec's possible jerkiness: I don't think he's a terror all the time, but I think when he doesn't like someone, he doesn't really hold his tongue. Which is why there are people who have a lot of problems with him, and others who have happily worked with him a few times.

I think you're right. I doubt he would be one of those Chevy Chase types who was just a dick to everyone. Actually, someone at TWOP linked to this blog run by a waiter, where they were talking about celebrity customers, and a couple of them mentioned Baldwin as one of the nicest they had dealt with. Which was kind of surprising.

Oh, this was super!! great because that scene at the beginning of "Jack Gets in the Game" is one of my all time favs! The way he says "That's what I want" is so freakin' funny and oddly super sexy at the same time. It's the look on his face or how quiet his voice is or something, I don't know, point is I love that scene so thank you for adding jack/liz office porn to it!! You made my day!

Thank you! I am glad to please you. I think it's the combo of the look on his face and the quietness of his voice that makes it oddly sexy, but I'd lean towards the voice. He can make anything sound sexual, and for that I applaud him.

*giggles* Oh my gosh, he would be turned on by Liz eating a steak. I've always loved that scene at the start of Jack Gets in the Game - it's always had totally sexual vibes in my mind, so this makes complete sense to me. Hot and hilarious, as always. I love having fic on non-30 Rock Thursdays, it makes them a whole lot better :D

Thank you very much! I got sexual vibes from that scene, too -- well, I suppose that's obvious, since I wrote this -- and I've wanted to do something with that for a while. And, hee, part of the reason I posted this was because of the lack of 30 Rock. I was going to wait to post something again until I had finished a longer fic, but I thought I might as well post this while there's a 30 Rock-shaped void in the universe.
