After Liz is entirely naked, she finds herself swallowing hard. She's never liked being naked in front of anyone, let alone one of her best friends. Though this is different from what it would be like to get naked in front of Pete or Jenna. Because, you know. She wants to have sex with Jack. She's going to have sex with him. Jack, who has seen many attractive women sans their clothing (and thank God he's not mentioning that fact now, though it doesn't really matter because she's thinking about his history of pawing at twenty-year-old supermodels and it's not helping her self-esteem).
She swallows again as his eyes travel over her.
"So," she says. "Now we are both naked."
If Jack weren't distracted by how he's, um, ready to have sex with her, she assumes he'd make some comment about the unnecessary nature of her awkward declaration. But he's just looking at her from his place on the bed, and...
"Do you think I look okay naked?"
"No, I think you look incredible."
She gets into bed with him. "You really shouldn't start the answer to a question like that with 'no.'"
"I didn't pause. And I'm entirely certain you can see the approval in my eyes and the evidence of my arousal."
"You were like that before I got naked."
"My erections have never been everlasting or unreasonable."
She didn't know there was anything to learn about Jack's erections, but she certainly has been proven wrong. "Okay, but--"
He kisses her mouth as his hand cups her breast. "I know you'd like to hear about how much I want you, but right now--" His mouth starts to travel down her neck. "--I'd prefer to show you."
This time, she exhales. "Okay, yeah. Go for it."
