Because moeyknight wrote a post where she said she didn't have time to read Mark Reads Harry Potter, I am now reading it. And I can't stop myself! It's so awesome.
Mark reviews every chapter, and I am really loving how much delight he's taking in reading the series. He'd done a similar thing with Twilight, and was able to post hilarious, snarky, mocking blog posts about how stupid it was. He truly expected to do this with Harry Potter, too--and you can see his first few posts as he's surprised by the quality of the plot. And then he gets into it. And then Harry Potter starts to mean something to him.
It's like reading Harry Potter all over again, ten years later. And guys--it really was good, wasn't it?
