This is from a painting by waterhouse, I believe. I have always wanted my hair that long. It was close this last year but I got (just this last week, actually) a haircut that took about 6 inches off. Just too many split ends. Also, I am in the SCA, and I have a blue gown very similar to the one she's wearing. Here's the whole painting here. She's sitting on a rocky beach rather calmly watching a boat wreck. I think I'd be a bit more excited if I were there.
Before I found Smallville, there was The Batman. *sighs* I don't mean the tv series from the sixties, I mean the dark, brooding hero of the comics and movies. He's very, very swoonful! This icon, though, I snitched from a friend's journal, SenatorHatty,and I have no idea where he got it.
Isn't this the best icon? *fans herself* arianstarr made it and while I haven't actually ever used it, (mostly because I snitched it just so I can keep looking at it) I just love the sentiment. :) (Cause it's true!) :)
Hee! I asked ladydreamer if she would put the text on that icon for me. The cap is from some out takes on the season three set of smallville, and Allison is stretching her face or something. It was very cute and very funny.
Herohunter made this one. I thought I'd get it and use it for those entries I read that make me just go "!" :) And who can resist the 'baum? He's just so expressive and adorable and cute and...(you'd think this would pass, wouldn't you? it's been YEARS, and I still adore the man. :)
This last one--I found it on someone's myspace page. It's called "going home." The idea of running home, and finding the things and people you most love there is something that just appeals to me. Besides, long flowy dress, long hair... :) you may notice a trend ;)
