Anti-climax

WooHoo! Just finished my last exam a couple of hours ago. I'm feeling a bit empty. Now I've got all this free time. No more studying to do! At least I can go back to doing some dancing. WooHoo! No classes till February. I am soooo happy.

I'm gonna do some creative writing later. And watch a couple of videos. Read this Victoria Holt novel titled...dum dum dum dum..."The Captive". It is about this English girl Rosetta Cranleigh, shipwrecked off the coast of Africa, rescued by pirates who sell her into a Turkish pasha's harem but she managed to escape and come back to England...where she finds herself a captive of another sort, involved in a dangerous web of intrigue, murder and love...

Hmmmm, the writer forgot 'mayhem'.

Leave me alone. (whinge starts here) Yesterday I completed an excruciating three-hour Accounting exam where I had to wax lyrical on why bad debt provisions and depreciation figures are irrelevant to a manager who is running a budget based on the cashflow statement. Then for 20 marks, I had to calculate the overhead allocation rate for this company based on direct labour hours, then on direct material hours and office space...Then today I wrote pages and pages worth of fluff on Kolb's Experiential Learning Cycle, Maslow's Theory on motivation, etc for my Human Resources and Management Exam.

Yep. I will read a soppy, easy-on-the-brain romantic novel if I want to! :P

Flick to a page, quick!

"...How could he trust a normal young man among so many women? Hence the eunuchs...Eunuchs make good servants. They can go among the harem women without temptation."
-page 143, Victoria Holt's The Captive
