there are good times of course
short of being labelled negative, this year has its fair share of good memories too.
firstly, some of my very close friends have shared that they are tying the knot next year. and i feel very honoured to be involved in their wedding plans.
Em is back in singapore and i'm glad to have my good friend back. sometimes people ask how we meet. truth is that we met back in 1998 in aust. fast forward 8 years later, she's finally back in singapore. she's my regular milk tea/french toast kaki. hee.
and then, there's him. i don't know where we'll go from here but the path we tread has to be taken with tiny steps. we have uncertainties to overcome, barriers to break, people to convince. we've known each other a total of 8 months and it's still very very early to tell. not many people know and i'm still taking it slow. recently, we've become more comfortable with letting people know. my mum seems to have softened a little and even invited him over for x'mas. to say that we have some issues to iron out is indeed an understatement. we have alot to deal with and that's just skimming the surface of things.
