eyes are watering
it actually looks quite nice, like i've woken up to a cold misty morning. except that it makes my eyes water. my eyes are nearly bloodshot red from tearing, also from extended wear of my contact lenses. the weather also seems warmer despite the cloudy skies.
we had a talk last night. he thinks i've been spending too much. i know i have, despite not buying anymore clothes or shoes. (i'm saving that for SFO. *evilgrin*) i've promised him to watch my spending.
which brings to mind the new Chanel foundation. i don't know if the colour is too dark or is my skin just plain awful. the colour really oxidised on me at the end of the day. application was a breeze with the sponge. in fact, my skin looked kinda radiant right after putting it on. but i used it at work yesterday, got in and had a real shock when i looked into the mirror. my eyeshadow was streaking, my usual pink blush turned into a ugly shade of brown peach, my skin looked oily!! i should have known better. even though the foundation is meant for normal/combi skin, it's really not so in my case. anything that promises to illuminate and give radiance just becomes oily on me. give me matte anytime. if this foundation works for you (i got #30), gimme a shout, i'm willing to let it go at a low price. it has only been used once.
the search for another foundation continues.
oh, and talking about SFO. Nick made me put a reminder in my hp 2 weeks ago. it reads "remind Nick not to shop". but it doesn't say anything about me not shopping. because i really like this.
admittedly, it doesn't look so hot here.
in the pics, both models look just as slim but they're such a perfect fit on the shopbop model. so, don't believe everything you see.
coz i tried this on
the model must be 1.9m for the dress to come above her knees. when i tried it on, it became a somewhat long dress, the front came right down to the middle of my chest, i could put my head through the arm-holes. i was literally swimming in it, despite it being an XS.
that's money saved coz i now know this pic is unreal.
