A change from the normal scheme of things
First off...DAD IS OUT OF THE HOSPITAL AND BACK HOME!!!!!!
Its been a hell of a long haul...Almost two months now...After two rushes to Indy...Two surgeries...and over a month in the hospital...and another in rehab...He is finally back home as of today! he's come a long way already but I can tell just in his voice that he is much better!
I'll get to see him tomorrow...it'll be nice to finally see him at home again. These next few months will still be challenging and I'll be spending quite a bit of time helping him and Barb, but I'll be glad to. I am really glad and happy that so far everything is A ok. He's making a steady recovery, but its far from over.
I'm now working at the Clinton eBash...we opened officially yesterday. It's kind of a nice change and all. A lot less little kids to deal with, the crowd thus far is middle school and highschool and I've gotten along with all of them. The building being smaller is nice too.
The downside...it's a hell of a lot farther...And I am away from the large majority of my pals at the other one...Even playing games doesn't feel the same, such as WoW when I can't just talk to the people playing with me...since they are right beside me.
I didn't really move by choice, so we'll see how long I'll deal with driving here 4 days a week.
I'll get my scholarship finalized here shortly then I'll be receiving the back pay for my last semester which = 3k some cash...which = My trip to Australia paid for! w00t w00t!
