Title: Drabbles (Part I)
Pairings: Ian/Anthony
Rating/Warnings: PG
Summary: Various drabbles based off a random word generator.
Author's Notes: I'm alive! I haven't been on livejournal in ages and haven't posted in forever. If anyone can remember, I made a deal with
98ninetyeight that I would post some drabbles only if she wrote some smut. We made this deal back in August... of 2012! I haven't even read these in a year. She's busy with school, but I'm tired of waiting. I've decided to post 5 of my total 25 drabbles. I need some incentive to get her to finish. ;) I also don't remember livejournal being such a bitch when it comes to formatting. Let me do what I want, livejournal! D:<

Daisy
“He loves me. He loves me not.”
Ian plucked the small petals of a daisy as he recited the simple child’s phrase.
“He loves me. He loves me not.”
Just a short while ago, Ian had met a boy that was like no other. Even though he was only in the sixth grade, Ian knew they that were meant to be together. He didn’t quite understand why he felt this way about this boy, but he didn’t need to understand it; all he needed to do was feel it.
“He loves me.”
Ian smiled to himself as he plucked the last petal and let it drift to the ground. He and Anthony were meant to be together forever.
Necklace
“You bought me a necklace?” Anthony asked, a bit confused by the gesture. Guys didn’t usually buy each other jewellery.
“I thought it was you.” Ian gave Anthony a charming smile that made him blush.
“So what is it?”
Ian propped up his hand, but kept it closed. With a dramatic flair, he opened his hand to reveal a necklace that resembled the Master Sword from the Zelda games.
“That’s awesome,” Anthony said as he took the necklace from Ian’s hand and placed it around his neck. “Thanks.”
“You’re welcome,” Ian said as he went in for a hug.
Anthony couldn’t help but feel warmth spread throughout his body at such close contact. It wasn’t every day that he hugged the person he secretly loved.
Scandal
Sacramento YouTube stars are gay lovers.
Anthony dropped the paper on the table and looked over at Ian. “Did you see this headline?”
“Yes, I did,” Ian said as he took a sip of water.
“Are they even allowed to print that?” Anthony could not believe this. How could this be happening to him? Now the whole world would know what he had tried to hide for so long.
Ian calmly stared at Anthony. “It’s not like it’s a lie.”
“But it’s our personal life. What will our fans think?”
“They’ll probably write twice as many fanfics,” Ian said with a laugh.
Anthony let out a sigh. There was no discussing this with Ian, since he wouldn’t take this scandal seriously.
Before he could walk out of the room, Ian said, “Just ignore it.” Anthony turned back around to face a smiling Ian. “Even if the world now knows, it doesn’t change the fact that I still love you.”
Blister
Ian cradled his hand, which had a large blister on the palm. It didn’t hurt too badly, but it was seriously hindering any activity requiring his hand; this included editing the next Ian Is Bored. Perhaps they had some medicine for it.
As Ian rifled through the medicine cabinet in the bathroom, he heard footsteps behind him. “What are you looking for?”
Ian turned around to face Anthony, who was looking at him curiously. Ian displayed the blister on his hand and said, “Something for this.”
Anthony gently grasped Ian’s hand and looked the blister over. After some careful thinking, he grabbed some lotion and bandages from the cabinet. “Here, let me help you.”
Anthony took his time to gently rub lotion on the blister, which Ian was grateful for. Too much pressure could hurt. As he started to wrap the bandage around it, Anthony said, “All that time spent using a keyboard and mouse must be too much of a workout for you.” He immediately gave Ian a cheeky grin.
With his good hand, Ian lightly smacked Anthony on the shoulder. “Ha-ha, very funny.” Still, he smiled to himself, since he was glad that Anthony always seemed to have a sense of humour, no matter the situation.
Pebble
Ian tossed a pebble out across the water and watched it skip across the surface before sinking into the depths. He liked to come out to this large pond outside town whenever he needed to do some deep thinking. His reason this time was because he had fought with Anthony earlier today.
Their fight had been stupid; Ian couldn’t even remember what had started it. It had been stubbornness that had forced him to leave the house for the day just to be away from Anthony. He couldn’t admit that he was wrong or had made a mistake. He couldn’t be the better man and apologize.
As Ian tossed another pebble across the water and watched the ripples spread across the pond, he felt sadness wash over him. He didn’t like being on the outs with Anthony. Best friends weren’t meant to break apart.
“I’m sorry.”
The words drifted across the water to fall upon unhearing ears. There was no one there to forgive him.
“I forgive you.”
Ian spun around to find Anthony standing behind him. Anthony smiled at him and Ian couldn’t help but smile back. That smile told him that everything would be all right.
