My Roman History paper requires the use of one primary source and 5-6 secondary sources. I kicked the primary source out of the way right off the bat, using a quote from Marcus Cato (Cato the Elder), and have used Jonathan Stamp (HBO Rome's historical consultant) as a secondary source. For my essay in Ancient Mediterranean, I've been writing on Alexander the Great. Now, until today, I only had an outline, but today I began writing out the paper itself.
