Personally, I've never understood the obsession with ratings - I mean, it's not like Kisarazu Cat's Eye got any amazing ratings but it's still extremely well-loved. I guess the thought is that people wouldn't go out on Monday nights, so they expect ratings to be high. Whatever.

Peaceful world, indeed! :)

Ratings doesn't mean everything but somehow some people just like to use it to gauge people's ability and all that stupid stuff which doesn't really matter if AUDIENCE are able to watch the show -.-

My brother goes out on Monday nights..., ok he just goes out everyday lol but monday nights!? Someone like me prefers sleeping to.. watching dramas ahha.

Wow, you watch kimutaku's dramas, I don't. So I can't really say who's better at what but then I guess Japanese people like to base the standard of an actor/actress through the ratings of the drama. Cause if the drama is NICE, and with GOOD actors/actress obviously it would bring in good ratings as people would want to watch it.

But considering that this is already a different generation, people don't really need to watch it through televisions, they can just use the internet wherever so like ratings aren't really a good measure of their standards now. So right now I think if they want to use the same kind of logic, that ratings are EVERYTHING, then I can say go to hell with them -.-

I don't care of the rating's matter. I don't care whether the rating is the lowest. As long I like what I watch then everything else won't matter anymore :p
