April full of non-work events

April is not lacking in events, starting off with chilling and singing at Red Box last April 9 since Geebee came home from Singapore. After which we hang out at Red Mango, then had dinner at Chilli's.

I also had the final fitting for adjustments to be made to my bridesmaid's dress last April 17, a week before Camille's wedding. Our appointment was at 10am so we had to leave Makati early. The following day, April 19, was our second traditions event for 2010, this time Cami treating us to dinner at Abe's at Serendra.

For the third consecutive day, April 20, I made plans with Ems to have dinner so I could give her the wedding invitation, and we could catch up a bit. We, together with her husband Dave, had dinner at Pepper Lunch at Greenbelt 5. That night I also met with HP friends to watch the movie Kick-ass, which, true to its title, kicked ass.

April 24 was the big day for Marlon and Camille with the wedding at Baguio Cathedral and reception at Baguio Country Club. The venue was whimsical and aptly decorated given the fairy tale theme. The program ran smooth, and the guests went home with lots of souvenirs namely a small stuffed toy, wine, bell (which we rang for kisses by the couple), and a figurine. Me and my friends frequented the photo booth, and I myself got four photo magnets.

Towards the end of April (April 29) we had our monthly cliquish dinner at Tender Bob's, followed by dessert at Bizu. But earlier that day I attended the Welcome Onboard orientation of my new company, which was a two-hour presentation followed by free dinner at Outback Steakhouse. Yum!

Finally, on April 30 James and I watched Iron Man 2 with HP friends. April 30 was also Memo Day at Macquarie, though we new hires couldn't relate yet ;p Next year, we'll be all-grins too, hopefully. Anyway, that day we had lunch with officemates at Recipes, followed by Kat's gelato treat at Gelatissimo.

I foresee May to be another busy month, what with wedding preparations, ongoing learning in my new work, and having parts of the house renovated. Lord, please grant us enough time to finish what we need to do...

entertainment, wedding, vacation/trip, happy thoughts
