Utah/California Trip is Coming up quick! XD
Stoopid Spam bots! MY LIVEJOURNAL IS NOT YOUR PLAYGROUND! Argh. I seem to be getting a ton of spam comments lately (they especailly seem to be targeting This entry for some reason.) :p Most of the spam is about cheap "sowtware" (misspelling of software)
I am prepping this week for a trip to Utah. Jenn & I are leaving on Friday. We are flying into LAX, then staying at cynlee's house on Friday night. (thank god for Cyn! She's a lifesaver!) Then on Saturday we're going to leave around 9AM or 10AM and make the 10 hour trek to Salt Lake City, UT.
I am so happy because I went to the local pawn store and bought myself a GPS unit for $30. It's a Garmin Nuvi :D So far, it's pretty damn neato. I hope that it will work awesomely this trip and not be a waste of money.
We are going to be staying at Tabatha's(0cean), who is Jenn's sister. She and her hubby have their own apartment, and so that will be fun to see. I'm going to have a rather relaxed vacation. Nothing really planned. Hopefully I will get caught up with my fic reading and maybe get some fanfic written or art drawn. I hope Tabatha has wireless interwebs and will allow me to mooch it. Damn, she doesn't have wireless. I guess I will have to bring extra cables to plug into her interwebs, or figure out how to tether my blackberry to my laptop before I leave.
We are going to be leaving Salt Lake City the next Saturday (April 16th) and traveling home to South Dakota. So if any of you live near where we'll be traveling and you wanna meet Jenn & I, let me know and I'll see what I can do! :D
Here's a list of stuffs I need to do and to pack for the trip, cuz it's listy and such!
To do:
+ Print attorney questions.
+ Print directions from LAX 2 Cyns, & Cyns 2 Tabbys
+ write down extra national codes on scrap paper
+ Figure out if I can print boarding passes with allegiant, if not; what do I need?
+ Get deposit slip from bank and give it to Dell so she can deposit my paycheck
+ bring ipod from work on Friday
+ Buy cat food
+ Buy sunglasses
+ Buy mechanical pencils
+ Update LA maps on GPS
To bring:

Also, I know I've been meaning to write up an entry about how I proposed to Jennifer, ( See her entry on it here) but I've been very lazy and not done it. However, I wanted to share the Mikey picture that I paid sneefee to draw for the occasion:
This drawing has 2 meanings, really. 1) I'm a mikey-type and I was the one proposing to her. #2) One of Jenn's most fond childhood memories is when a guy dressed in a Michaelangelo costume proposed to her at a car show, so I wanted to kinda reference that as well.
Also, the ring Mikey is holding is an actual drawing of Jenn's Ring! See?
The hand on top is mine and the one below is Jenn's. :D
I was super excited when I got it, and I couldn't wait to show it to Jenn. (Really! I was too excited/impatient, so I showed/gave it to Jenn on Friday, the day before I proposed to her)

PS. Also, just because I haven't said anything about this post doesn't mean I'm not upset about it. I just haven't had time to write anything up about it. (I wrote the majority of the above post yesterday)
