Just so everyone knows, the queasiness I felt after my new tattoo has gone away.

My girlfriend Jenn is going through some very tough times in her sexual abuse recovery. She has gathered the courage up to ask me to refrain from looking at or reading turtlecest. However you explain or excuse it, it IS incest. However, I won't get into that conversation/argument here. As a supportive partner, I gladly honor my girlfriend's request. (she has changed so much for me, even her home state, it's the least I can do for her!)
Now, you ask, why am I telling you all on my f-list this? I am telling you this because many of you write/draw turtlecest. I don't want to lose any of the friendships I have with you. Know that my feelings towards ANY of you as people has NOTHING to do with whether I approve of/read/like what you write. I am just asking you all please warn me that something contains 'cest and put things behind an LJ-cut. That is all I ask.
Please don't be angry at me and/or think that I am trying to put limits on any of you. I just am trying to be a supportive partner and help my darling through a difficult time. If this is going to cause any of you to de-friend me, PLEASE contact me first and hopefully we can talk things out and reach a compromise...
