My Ninja Turtle Tattoo

Well, I got my tattoo on Saturday! It was awesome! :D Zak at A local tattoo shop called "skin and bones" did it for me. He took this image:
and modified it into the awesomeness that is this!:
It looks AWESOME, doesn't it? The picture doesnt do it justice because the oranges are MUCH cooler IRL and the light in the bathroom makes it look a little washed out. I love my mikey tattoo! :D
- It didn't hurt HARDLY as much as I thought it would! There were some parts that hurt a lot (just like sensitive patches) but most of it just felt kinda like a buzzy sensation! :D
- I LOVE the way he dithered the background rainbow instead of just the plain circles! IT IS AWESOMESAUCE!!
- It cost more than I thought it would, though. It cost $350 O_O I now have $25.71 left in my bank account. Yikes! I'm glad I get paid this Friday!
- I am on a constant aleve now tho. When the Aleve wears off, I get a shooting pain in the bottom of my tattoo :p
- My tattoo is warm! :D It makes me happy that my tattoo is warmer than my other skin. Prolly will go away when it's all done healing, but I'm happy for it right now.
- Funny thing happened. The 1st night I had my tattoo, I fell asleep and when I woke up the tattoo was stuck to my shirt. I peeled it off and this remained:
hee hee.
- Ever since I got my tattoo, I have had a slight queasy feeling in my tummy. I am not sure what this is. Has anyone else experienced this? My body tends to absorb ink (when i write on myself, it disappears usually within a day or two) so maybe my body is absorbing some of the tattoo ink and feeling icky because of it?? Nyar?
Overall, I REALLY like the style of my tattoo. It's loud, colorful, unique, and abstract, just like me! ;D
