(no subject)
so the decision is made- we're staying in portland.
i'm all gung ho on finding a house to buy and nat's all gung ho on trying to get a tattoo apprenticeship. all he does anymore is sit in the big living room chair, usually with penelope curled up next to him, and draw in his flash sketchbook. he's amazingly skilled at drawing and i'm always shocked that he can draw a big japanese koi fish or dragon in like, ten minutes. i just think it's funny how dude has NO tattoos but wants to be a tattoo artist.
it was supposed to snow five inches last night and i dreamt that work was closed and i had a happy snow day at home. i woke up and looking out the window i saw lots of rain but no snow. i hate the weather people, getting my hopes up like that! now they're saying we may get an inch this afternoon but most likely just more rain. i say just shut up already!!
today should be pretty slow- i only have one file closing which i already took care of yesterday. i meant to bring in my camera and upload pics this morning but lo and behold, i forgot my USB cable. oh well! i should go turn in my jury duty summons to my boss before i forget, i can't believe i got called! though i suppose anything is better than work.
last thing- i bought this vest while i was in seattle and can i just say i love it insanely?? the hood is detatchable and it is sooo warm!
