"The problem with evil people is that they can see only evil in others. It is one of the worst curses of being evil, that you can no longer experience good.
― Michael Gruber

READ
Battle at Alcatraz, Ernest B. Lageson
I picked up this book while I was in San Francisco visiting the island.  The author was there, he even signed the inside cover for me!  Ok, not all that exciting, but the book itself was pretty good.  The story is interesting, and while there is some obvious bias (the author's father was a guard who was taken hostage during the escape attempt), it doesn't mak the book any less engaging.

HEARD
Future Islands, In Evening Air
Recommendation from my cousin, said it sounded like "my music".  It really took a while to grow on me, but it did.  Good stuff, fun for the car and shower listening.

Skrillex, Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites
I don't get it.  I wanted to, I did.  It's not that what's happening here is bad, exactly, but its nothing new, either.  I may have to come back it sometime and give I another try.

WROTE 1479 words
Grad School applications are almost due, so almost all my writing is for that, though it is pretty slow going.  The fanfiction is going a mini hiatus, until I can this stuff done.

WATCHED
Kids In The Hall
I used to love this show when I was a kid (one of babysitters used to let me watch it, which seems a little inappropriate in retrospect), and I love it now.  Canadians are definitely my people.

VISITED:
Toulouse-Lautrec and the Spectacles of Paris, Herb Ritts: LA Style, Cincinnati Art Museum
Another trip to the museum with my mother.  Toulouse-Lautrec is one of my favorite artist, so I was thrilled to finally makes it to this exhibit.  My mother (who I love, honest)  does not like Toulouse-Lautrec, and spent half of the exhibit telling me so.  She enjoyed Herb Ritts, however, and so did I.
