Hahaha, yeah! It was even a bit hectic at times. But mostly with schoolwork and rubbish like that; the actual adventuring was just stuff that happened along the way or by accident. Life's kind of like that, I figure. *g* And it was an awesome summer, although I wish it could've lasted longer; it was my last summer vacation before my army service, and a definite era of an era. An era called 'freedom and happiness', d'oh.

What about you, beautiful? How did you choose to while away these sultry summer months? :D Tell alL!

My summer certainly was not as eventful as yours. Only took summer school (stats and macroeconomics, fun!) and got a lot more involved with student clubs (which is draining my very will to live). I had a couple of first times this summer - the first time I actually visited the scenic Center Island in Toronto (there was a clothing optional portion of the beach but I dare not venture forth), first time I watched a baseball game (we lost! >_<), first time my sunhat saw sun since the day I bought it home from the store (in May) but I've basically been busy in the most tedious and boring sense. :/

Hmm.. which of the points to pick. You can tell me how you met the human incarnation of Loki, that's sure to be a treat. :3 Or the pilot story. For some reason, when I read it for the first time I thought you declined to write a pilot for a series. >_<

p.s. I haven't been up to date with the Kings episodes. D: Still stuck at ep 9. @_@

Wow, that sounds like an awesome summer! :D I have a soft spot for baseball; I wish we had an actual league in Israel. (Who were you rooting for, btw?) And beaches are always FTW, especially if they're scenic and on islands. ♥ You know, after the army I plan on doing a world-wide trip to visit all my online peeps and meet them face-to-face; if we ever meet during that time and you're still around, I bet I'll drag you back there (and to the clothing-optional part, too ;D).

As for stories, the pilot thing is elaborated upon here. Basically, the army (IDF) decided I'm qualified to become a military pilot and wanted to start testing the shit out of me; I politely declined, despite my father's secret conviction that it is my Super Magical Destiny. Frankly, I'd've much preferred being offered to write a series pilot, lol.

As for Loki, DUDE, CHECK IT OUT. I was on a trip to Jerusalem with my family and we stopped at a restaurant to pee before continuing on a truly excellent guided tour (we love touring Jerusalem and learning about, like, ( ... )

The game was between Toronto Blue Jays and Tampa Bay Rays. I was for the blue jays. My first game and they lost. :( I heard the day after I went, they won against the Rays. I liked the island - I just realised it was also the first time I went to a fresh water beach. This summer was also the first time I drank alcohol - beer at that and I've been legal (Canadian standard) for 2 years already. Man I've been missing out. Alright! let me know if you're coming over to Toronto and I'll be more than happy to tour you around. :)

Oh man, I wish I could just hop on a car and take a trip as educational and culturally enriching as that. which reminds me, I have to send in a membership application for a museum here, King Tut is visiting 8D

LOL! You are so funny, I swear. xD I'd be freaked out why a random person is taking pics of me while I'm working too! Sebastian Stan on a nude beach yummmm...

I share your shame. D:! I'd be delighted to! add me on msn or yahoo, jtroxdahaus@yahoo.com. LOL I've had that email since I was in the 5th grade ( ... )

Aww, could be you're an inadvertent bad-luck charm for the Jays? Of course, it's the most superstitious and unscientific conclusion one can arrive at, but of course this journal disdains actual science, so I feel entitled. :D

Oh, what's the Canadian age limit for alcohol? In Israel it's 18, but pffbt, I don't know a single underage person who actually goes by the law on this point (except my brother, who had a moral objection to drinking for some incomprehensible reason, for a few years, before breaking down and joining the rest of us alcoholics). Although, idk, could be we're just a more "alcoholic" society here in Israel-certainly most mainstream definitions of "having a good time" including going to pubs and bars and such, which is not necessarily something I endorse/approve of but has probably affected me in some way. Plus, I have a cadre of uncles who've all been slipping me drinks ("to get an early start on your future boyfriends") during family events for years. XD

I'd be freaked out why a random person is taking pics of me ( ... )

LOL naw the Jays have been losing long before I went to watch their game. It just would've been nice if they won when I went. :P Interesting though if I was the one bringing the badluck to them xD I'd be boo-ed out of the stadium with ice cream and chicken and popcorn in my hair. .. D:!

chugchugchug!!! Wish I had uncles like that. xD

but they ARE amusing. D: ravenscar asylum? -shot-

Yes you did ♥

Ah, no, see, that just depends on how one looks at the situation! You say, boo'd outside with ice cream and chicken and popcorn in your hair. I say, given free lunch by kindly if ham-fisted passers-by! Perspective is a magical thing, lol. XD

Haha, oh yeah, my uncles are awesome. And somehow I got the impression that Israel is perhaps less strict on the alcohol than Canada? I mean, we are influenced by tremendous & multiple Russian immigrations all throughout the 20s, 50s and 80s... *g*

hey, I never thought of it that way, always the optimist aren't you? 8D

Canadian culture consists of hard drinkers - it might just be me. o_o

I do try, my darling; I do try. ♥

Hard drinkers? Well then-clearly I must come to Canada! *g* Just kidding, although it's good to know you can hold your liquor, because I sense we're going to need plenty of it during the Kings marathon. I mean, there's only so much brain trauma which capslock and virtual flailing can counter. D:

Oh, I meant it might just be me who doesn't drink frequently - but I have tried and yes I can hold my liquor relatively well. :P yes come to Canada ♥

Lol I can't wait for the marathon. 4 painful weeks away (not to mention 2 midterms and a couple of projects in between) D:

Hmm, well, post-army I definitely want to do a worldwide tour and visit all my awesome LJ people. That'll be in, uh, three years or so, but still! No harm in planning, right? 8D

Four weeks! DAMN, THAT IS SUCH A LONG TIME. I hadn't thought of it like that. ): We shall have to hold on tight and persevere. Especially through the storm of midterms and unwanted projects between now and then. Good luck with those! D:

3 years! Wow that's such a long ways away. Let me know when you're gonna do your grand around the world adventure and I'll open my doors to your wonderful self, wherever I may be in 3 years time. 8D

Thank you, I'll need it. :-/ The marathon will certainly be something to look forward to at the end of it all. :) Enjoy your trip, take pics and try to stay out of trouble, although it's not an official miarr trip if it's anything less than infamous. ♥

Thank you ever-so, my darling! The offer is greatly appreciated. Be sure I shall hold you to it, when the time comes. >D Hur hur hur.

LOL ABOUT TAKING PICS ON THE TRIP, me and my mum bought a camera only two days ago-brand new! especially for the trip!-and today I wanted to use it to photograph my brother's birthday party and IT WAS BROKEN. It just, it was so broken. It wouldn't even turn on. (And yes, we checked the batteries.) This is, incidentally, the third camera which pulls that kind of shit on us. In a row. I am so close to despairing of filming technology, I can feel it in my bones. DDD:

Mi casa su casa and all that jazz. :)

WHAT? 3rd time? Are you for real? What thu. D: Was it still under warranty? Return that shit and get your money back. That's crazy, what brand is it? Incidentally, was it the camera you used to take a pic of your torso? It might have had too much of your lovely sexiness, it couldn't take it. XD

It's a Samsung, sleek and white and sexy, but apparently taciturn as hell. The previous one was a Canon. ): I don't even know anymore, bb. Although, lol, it is the camera I used to take a picture of my torso-by gosh, you might be on to something!

(Haha, just kidding, of course. But thank you for the compliment. ♥ *curtsies*)

MUM REPORTS THAT THIS MORNING IT IS ONCE AGAIN WORKING. Good grief, I'm too old for this kind of capriciousness. Youngsters nowadays, I tell you. *passes hand over eyes*
