Well, so far, nothing is broken. However, I blame that more on the lack of movement most of these games require. Most of the time, I am just pushing right and left and hitting that greatly over-sized A button. With that little complaint out of the way, Mario Kart Wii is INCREDIBLE. In my opinion, worth the purchase of the Wii, well, with what I've seen of the new Zelda game. The Wii Wheel is a great addition to the game and shows that Nintendo knows how to make games that utilize the unique remote they have. By comparison, GTA4, while using the Sixaxis motion sensing in the controller for the PS3, has some sensitivity issues, in my opinion. However, I believe the Wii Remote is going to be the main problem for Nintendo going forward. I am semi-fearful of third party programmers who make games for all 3 systems. They will be less likely than Nintendo to spend as much time and money making a quality product that utilizes the Nintendo Wii Remote for more than just a "neat feature." Realistically, the best games Nintendo will have come out will realize that the Remote is THE feature of the Wii, not just 'A' feature. I feel this is where Brawl's biggest downfall lies. The game is fun and the new story they have is lengthy and fun to play. However, they completely disregard the fact that the Wii Remotes are even part of the system. To me, this is a game that they could have released on the GameCube. There is no motion sensing. I know that they shouldn't just add the feature to add it, but it would have been nice to see them work it into the game play a little, in some way...not completely disregard it's use. Oh well, it is supposedly their final installment of the series, so I guess they just couldn't be bothered with it.
