I haven't looked outside yet to see how snowy it is in my neighborhood, but I've been awake for almost two hours working on
local school updates. It's all two-hour delays for the districts in Tompkins County, with a few closings to our south. The storm has mostly passed east of here, so roads should be in pretty good shape before long.
As happens once in a while, I woke up on my own a bit after 5am, and was able to turn off the alarm I had set for 5:50 to check whether there were any closings. There used to be a live morning DJ at the radio station every day, and Jeff would call me when the school closings started being called in to him. Nowadays I have to wake myself up!
