A random act of kindness

So on Monday and Tuesday, Andrew, Lauren and I went down to Detroit to go to a Fed Camp to learn about monetary policy that we can use in our competition in March. While I was driving on Tuesday, we pulled out of a gas station (Cause i needed gas before i drive downtown) and someone let our car into the lane so I repsectfully waved. Then Lauren pointed out something; waving in traffic is like the best part of our society. It just shows how nice people can be in our society when people are usually mean. It brings out the best of us. Random act of kindness part one.

Anyway, the seminars were boring, but the food was good.

Wednesday, I went into the hospital in the morning to work before going over to Nick's house to basically linger around for the rest of the day and do nothing.

Today was a big day. My wisdom teeth were removed. I honestly didnt' feel anything during the procedure, because you're completely knocked out. But afterwards, it was not pretty. First, I was on vicodin, which caused me to puke for the first time in 9 years. I, however, am extremely grateful and appreciative that Leah gave me a call (although I was sleeping) and came over and dropped off a strawberry smoothie unexpectedly. Random act of kindness part two. So I ate that and drank smoothies for the rest of the day :)

Then I got a message from a friend from FTE Hillsdale asking how I was doing. That meant something, even though it was small. Random act of kindness part three.

Then my grandparents stopped over to check on me. Random act of kindness part four.

Overall, I feel physically like crap, but I am really appreciative to my friends and family for being really cool.

15 days until Andover Football 2005
