Friendship fic
threecee described this fic to me on a post thread in The Canteen, and I think it sounds interesting. I’m not sure whether it’s online somewhere or tucked away in a fanzine.
Description: There is another where they are forced to take refuge with Napoleon's very homophobic and nasty brother or brother-in-law who outs him to Illya. Illya is straight, but completely accepting and supportive. I can't find it, but I seem to remember that Illya plays a very stoned, very femme, gay to fit the brother-in-law's stereotype and eventually wipes the floor with him for mistreating his best friend. It is an angsty, H/C Napoleon backstory with a good ending.
Sound familiar to anyone?
