Simon takes a back seat in the next few episodes, so I'm not going to go into any of them in detail. However there are a few screencaps I want to share...

Firstly, Simon disguised as a French orderly in "Guests":

Great screen caps!
I've just received season 16 of NCIS so I'll be otherwise occupied for the next few weeks, however, thanks to your screen caps I shall have to be paying Colditz another visit very soon.

Ducky or Simon: what a decision to make! :)

Well enjoy season 16 of NCIS. Colditz will still be waiting when you finish.

If it will help jog your memory: "Guests" is the episode about the captured British commandoes, and "French Leave" is the one where the French officers are being moved to a work camp in Poland, and one of them escapes by seducing a local girl into helping him.

(This is one where I wish they'd stuck closer to what actually happened. The French officers were moved to Poland in June 1943, and the British and the French officers joined together to take the opportunity for a bit of escaping/"goon" baiting. One British officer was caught at a railway station hiding in a French officer's luggage! Done right this could have been a lighter episode with dark undertones, and a good showcase for our boys.)

I swear David McC is a chameleon! Some actors look the same regardless of the role they play even when their make up and hair style are different. DMc has slipped the Illya persona and look quite well. You know it is DMc, but he looks like nothing that he has played in the past.

It's the way they hold themselves - Illya is serious, but laid back, while Simon is wound up so tight he's continually in danger of snapping. The body language is completely different!

(Now if Simon reminds me of any other of DMC's characters, it's Steel. Now wouldn't that be a great crossover - Sapphire and Steel are assigned to Colditz! *g*)

Well, he can't always be front and center, I suppose. Thanks (again) for some great shots! :D

Thanks! I think I'll do "Chameleon" next, where Major Mohn takes his departure. *eg*
