Rec and NCIS
First off, there's been a lot of fics I've wanted to rec lately, and I've been putting them off, planning on a big rec post one of these days when I get sorted through all my memories. But this one...I had to do it on its own. It's an interview-style Jared/Jensen fic taking place in the future. I love what the author tells us: random bits of info, what happened on set, how things have turned out, etc. It's all done with it not seeming like a fic--as though it were a true interview. NCIS
This ep was hilarious. At the beginning, there was tons of wordplay to make it all sound sexual and God, I laughed so hard. Plus! Gibbs shaved the mustache! A lance corporal is found dead in a show house and it turns out he's got two fiances. They of course, get into a fight in the middle of NCIS. McGee has this new video phone and he tapes it. What's great is as the fight starts, DiNozzo stands up and points, yelling, "chick fight!" and then he and McGee do nothing else. LOL Gibbs has to pull the two women apart. We find out the corporal has been having an affair with a married woman as well. Then one of the original women is found shot and the bloods on McGee's shirt so Gibbs has him strip in the middle of the pit. Ziva's face is priceless, she's totally smirking and eyeing him. The whole time Tony is laughing and backing up from shirtless-McGee. Then McGee asks to get a shirt from DiNozzo...who also strips! So we have two men, standing in each other's faces, with Ziva smirking on. She adds, "it's like Chippendales. Only without the bowties and muscles." Ah, Ziva!! Ziva wins. And at the very end...we find out there's another fiance. LOL
Best line though.
Gibbs: Down on hands and knees.
McGee: *does so* ...you're not going to step on me, boss?
That is why I love this show.
