Uhhhh. I kid I kid. You are one of the most compassionate, genuine and fun as fuck people I know. One of my favorite things about you is how non-judgemental you are in every situation. We can just sit around and watch tv and turn it into the -best day ever- but for now I'll spare you my novel and just say I love you!

I really wish our time in Seattle had overlapped. I remember coming home and having a package in my mailbox from you, a pair of gorgeous plugs (that I still wear several times a week!) and the sweetest card and in my transition, that meant so much to me. I sat on my living room floor surrounded by all of my shit and just cried because while everything was so up in the air, it felt so important and so sweet to have someone show me that token of love, thoughtfulness, curated kindness. That always resonated with me and I don't know if I ever said that or properly thanked you but the thought is there.

You are someone I want to know. I can't get a read from you, and I like that. The best people usually start off as a mystery to me.

I'm sure you have entertaining stories about your job, and you've been such a great friend to Jen, which makes me happy.

You moved to Seattle and made it work. Do you know how impressive that is?! Really impressive.

I hope I get to meet you someday and that we mesh well.

When you moved to Seattle I had no idea how our friendship would evolve. I never expected that it would become wine and dinner nights, shitty television and beer afternoons, long walks or just half-awake coffees in the morning (or "morning" since neither of us really want to be up before noon). I didn't know I'd come to feel so comfortable with you that I wouldn't be afraid to ask if I could crash on your couch when I was too sleepy (read: tipsy) to drive ( ... )
