I have a recital dress. It fits fabulously. Guess what color it is. Too late, I'm gonna tell you: PINK. HOT pink. I freaking L-O-V-E it!!!! Almost worth the 9 hours I spent in Hell (batonrouge) with my mother today. I am gonna rock that shit with rhinestones, french tips and (professionally done) Greta-Garbo-Old-Hollywood hair. Oh, I'm gonna sing amazingly as well. However, must spend every waking moment of next 5 weeks (Holy shit, that soon???) doing arm-toning exercises. (And practicing, natch...wait, I can't do 2 things at once...or CAN I?) Was going to go for a run tomorrow morning (I HATE freaking running, it hurts my knees, but gym is closed) but Bean has my iPod. I can't exercise in silence! I'm not an animal!!
I haven't participated in any Mardi Gras festivities. I haven't had King Cake!!! (Not even those delicious caramel pecan ones from Southern Maid mmmmmmm....) Am v. much enjoying being productive, but feel like bad Louisianian.
Oh well.
