Well shucks, I probably should have figured out how to freeze posts but not responses to posts before I started the kink-a-thon on my community... I've looked through the FAQ guide and can't find out how, so do any of you guys know how to freeze the posting of new comments on a thread without freezing the ability to post responses?

Have I ever mentioned that I can't stand the "I'm ______, so I must be _____" meme in The Pit? It's like a visual manifestation of the author's immaturity, and often times, inability to write decent fanfic, although YMMV.

Feeling an odd mix of masochistic and optimistic, I decided --mostly out of boredom-- to watch the last episode of Yami no Matsuei in English. Granted, it's practically impossible to find a 360p quality fansub on Youtube these days. Hmm, apparently xxxhoLic ended and ended horribly according to the people complaining about it on 4chan. I don't know what to think about that; I'm a fan of CLAMP, and I'd like to continue to have faith in their ability to write stories, even if the endings are open-ended or not what was expected, but I'm angry at the possibility that they just got ( Read more... )
