Today we took my cat Kiri to the vet and gave him freedom from his arthritis, his asthma, his diabetes, his kidney disease, his thirst and pain. This week has been very, very difficult. Last weekend I did the saddest, most difficult, most painful thing I've ever had to do in my entire life, something I never expected or wanted to do.
