So there has been stuff I've been wanting to get off of my chest...

First off is all my guy friends asking me if I will get a bf eventually, the answer honestly is, I don't know. If it happens, it happens.

Secondly, why might have I rejected you? Well I am kind of old fashioned, and coming to me directly would have impressed me much more than texting me your question. I definitely respect somebody who took the courage to ask face-to-face.

Another reason was that I've been too sick thru high school to have any relationships, so I'm rather new to the dating thing. Yes there were guys I have known forever that had crushes on me, but nobody bothered to ask cause they all had their opinions about my attendance records :\

My dad in all honesty is an intimidating man. Most of the guy friends I have now know him, and I have seen him do things to my teachers and counselor in HS... And I have seen some of the reactions with my friends when my dad comes into a room... Sometimes that thought rolls thru the back of my mind when I'm with them at the mall or wherever. My younger brother, also intimidating, yet arrogant, is millitary trained and bulked out... When he decides to tag along when i have plans he can be suffocating with the inflated ego of his :\

My no's aren't set in stone... its my way of saying I'm not ready, ask again later... lets get to know each other a little better before we start dating- sort of thing...

.... the no had yet another reason, I barely knew you then, only just a few months at most, so it was kind of awkward to me... Now that I have known them for this long I would consider dating them if they asked in person... another thing is that I don't need presents to get my attention or affection, it makes me feel indebted to the person and need to pay them back. Them small things like visiting me while I'm hospitalized, or going to local events that are important to me or you. Even going out for a meal would make me happy too, nothing ritzy either! :)

So now that I am on the subject of bf's, I'm gonna think of a list of things I kinda look for...

Sensitive
Not a big ego
Gentlemanly (roll out the manners wagon)
Punctual
Sense of humor (doesn't have to be stellar, just has one)
Mildly weird in their own way
Similar Hobbies/Interests
Taste in music (ability to play instrument- optional)
Tolerance and patience for my condition
Adaptability
Drives? (I don't either - so its optional)
Knows how to score brownie points with my parents (optional)
Knows my likes (optional, comes with getting to know me)
Goes to Church (when the serious dating comes, so optional, but like back burner)
Comes to concerts (if I'm in practice - optional)
Has to come to family parties (to get razzed by my aunts and uncles, happened to everyone else)
--this is all i got right now, will add some later as i think of it-----

life, ranting
