I just buzzed most of my hair off.
I'm going to the police station in ten minutes.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous.
[EDIT]:
I gave my official statement. I really with there was more content in it. While I was at the police station I felt like I looked more like a criminal than a victim. Being left in the room alone, I was unsettled by the juvenile writings; threats and insults scrawled on the walls. I'm pretty sure I heard the detective call me a cross dresser while he was out in the hall. I didn't appreciate that much, nor when he called me by my old name after spelling out my real name. Perhaps I misheard both of those statements. But he definitely did say "you don't remember much, do you girl?" in a friendly joking manner type of thing that I didn't appreciate, and I laughed nervously.
The whole experience wasn't bad though. We went out in the car and through the horrendous pouring rain we found the apartment building the man had taken me to. I recognized the back door and the stairs inside immediately. Through the windows I could see the floor plans were just as I described in that backwards "L" shape. We also found the route I ran away to escape. You would think this would be really helpful but still the detective didn't sound confident that we would find the man. I'm just not being given much hope. It'll be 8-12 weeks till they receive the test results. It'll be about 6 months for the DNA results.
I'm not a happy kitten. Plus my paws got wet going outside. However I'm about to go to Angela's for dinner. Yay! No more cereal and water! I should really invest in some soy milk, or any kind of milk. Plus groceries in general. I'll try to make a visit to the food bank next week. At midnight I'm seeing SNAKES ON A PLANE with Brendan, Erin, and several other people. It should be an exhilirating time.
