Israel (Day 8)
so day 8, like it was our last time on the Sea of Galilee, i cna't beleive it's already been ova a month since i'lve been 2 l'eretz yisrael, i miss it, did some reflection on it 2day, it was a lot of fun, even though i wanan travel abroad all ova the place, 1 place i'd love 2 go bak 2 is israel, like spend some more time, like goin indepth on those places of my faith, like this bein easter, like i wanan get 2 those places we couldn't go 2 bcuz it was "unsafe" sr pat said it was unsafe 4 the jewish kids 2 go, but also bcuz we're american didn't help, like those quaters of jerusalem we couldn't cover bcuz of that, like u could c gethsemane and golgotha and the holy sepruchre, but i wanan b there, like it just strengthens ur faith so much more, but more than that, like the thing that was a big thing in my mind 2day was massada, not the hilltop and walkin around,t hat was wet and cold, but like walkin down that, like guys, like wow, idk, like the snake path is this thing carved in the side of the mountain and snakes around the side of the mountain like it's not a ramp, but it goes along the side of the mountain, and like it had gotten sunny at that point, and it was just so beautiful, like i remember sayin 2 shari, where else can u c this, b here, like at this sight, like it was awsomse the desert is beautiful and the dead sea is beautiful and ur on a cliff pratically and it's all spread out around u and u can c 4 like a wanna sayt a good 25 miles prob 50, idk, it's justr like lookin back on it, it's like unreal, just it didn't happen, ur dreamin it, but yea, i'll get bak 2 day 8, which i just figured out is thrusday, i had 2 like go figure it out, since the schedule i 1st posted in early feb after the shabbot dinner was a lil mixed up, lol, so thurs, we headed off 2 akko, acco, acre, it's a crusader city just north of haifa on the coast, so the bus ride was liek an hr and i personally fell asleep, i think almost every1 did, bcuz joe did this weird wakey wakey thing 2 us on the bus (he had been hoem the nite b4 and we had picked him up while i was asleep) and it was annoyin,. but the city, i wish i paid more attention, like interstin, this guy named david ben moshe, i cna't beleive i remember that name, it was the birtish fortress when they ruled palestine after world war 1 2 they turned it ova and like the jews wanted israel so they started the underground resistance and david ben moshe was killed there, more specuifically huing there, 4 stealin ammo from a british camop, this is when the resistance started killin a brit officer each trime a jew was put 2 death, but a lil story, and then akko was a crusader durin the crusades, duh, like 1000's it was ruled by the catholics and then takin ova by the turks in i think 1099, lol, weird rememberance, but liek it was huge, really kewl, like tunnels connectin everythin, rite on the mediterranean, and like stairs made 4 the horses and big port, also had the customary marketplace, like it was beautiful on the sea, like it was an old city, but like huge halls and history behind it, like any middle ages buff's dream, lol, not me, but like it was real interestin, and then we went 2 lunch at this hotel, pretty nice, rebecca, jordana, and hedy like engulfed the rumballs and alcohol-flled cake, and then we got on the bus and started bak 2 yerusalahem, lol, we stopepd at this field of flowers, really nice, saw joe's wife, i was tire,d like i should've been more awake but like it was so nice, and we got bak 2 jerusalem, we had nicer rooms at beit shmuel this time, i rememberr like u could walk out of the windows and og places and we were rite next 2 the french consulate now, but w/e, we went 2 the gas station, got some stuff, it was a nice day, crazy drivers in the city but nice, ahhh, i was a lil lost on wat we did that nite, but now i remember vividly, it was the start of a really movin time 4 me, this lady, hannah (i think i spelt it wrong) greenfield, came and talked 2 us, she was from czechoslavakia, and was jewish, tlken in2 the ghetto at i 4get which 1, but it wasn't nice, it was real movin, like wow, it was tough 4 her 2 speak, idk, sorta brings u 2 focus, actually c'in sum1 who went through it, she later went 2 auschwitz and worked, like it was bad, i'll have more bout the holocaust, yes, there's more 2 it, and bein sick, lol, the fun times in l'eretz yisrael, we had dinner and a low nite if i remember rite, and then the last 2 full in days in israel were upon us, wow, i can't beleive how fast it went by
