So the days in Galilee, this was the second day, the nights were a lot of fun there, the night b4, i 4got 2 mention, Ron's friends had come and they brought hooka and it was a lot of fun, lol, liek everynite we played cards there, it was a lot of asshole and fun, i susually was really good at asshole, won a lot of the time, lol, but yea, day 7, umm, ok, we woke up, alrite, i'm tryin 2 get it all in order, lol, it's still in my head, we ate breakfast, joe had spent the nite w/ his family, we met them at the kibutz we were eatin dinner at the nite b4, and then we headed in2 tiberius, nice city, we went 2 this place where the hot water springs were located and joe's bosses from nfty came, lol, but liek it was real nice, like alot of stuff from the 6th century ad or bce, and the place of the last sanhedrin b4 they were totally kicked out of galilee by the roman's in the 500's, it was kelw, like the court had this thing where we learned a lot oft he jewish calendar was based on zodiac signs and everythin, unfortunately, the sagitarius sign was eroded away, but then we headed, i'm tryin 2 remember wat we did 4 lunch, i guess we went bak 2 the kibutz, got teh handy dandy journal, liek i did a basic outline of everythin we did here, i'm gonna print all this stuff out and put it in there, ahhh, ok, i 4got sumthin, like rite after breakfast, kibutz ginosar fouind htis boat named the disicples' boat, it was found in the shores of the sea of galilee, and is thought that it could have been peter's boat, liek they found it in perfect condition and like the framework was still in tact, like it was really awesome, this boat from 2000 years ago, and bout tiberius, the sanhedrin was kicked out of jerusalem in the 130's, bout the same time the zealots commited their mass suicide and 2 elude the roman defeat, masada is in teh south, which was judah bak in the time of the 130's, the romans kicked all the jews out of there by the 130's the zealots bein the last and all the jews that left went 2 galilee by the 500's the romans wanted them out of palestine altoghter, and the last sanhedrin occured in tiberius and it disbanded 4eva, lol, ok, so now i remember the rest of htat day, it was a lot of fun, liek the mornin was focused on histroy, the afternoon was based on the theme of project understandin, 2 betta understand and accept teh belief of each other, so after tiberius we headed 2 yardinet, the baptism site of Jesus, so like it's on the Jordan River, rite where it starts and flows from the sea of galilee, like it was awesome, all the catholics got in the water (feet only) the water was vcold and a lil dirty, but liek wow, 2 stand in teh same place where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist was awesome, incredible, lots of incredibles 2 come, then we headed on the road 2 haifa, a port city, more on that lata, we stoped at this gas station on the top of this huge hill overlookint eh sea of galilee, liek they had this viewin tower, it was beautiful, overlookin the sea of galilee like u couldn't ask 4 anythin more picturesque, like wow, the greenery and the beauty of the sea, like i'll remember that 4eva, then we went 2 this druze (sounds like jews, only druze) like they're arabs but peaceful and r citizens of israel and they respect the national authority whereeva they're livin, they have awesome food and r known 4 goat cheese, yes, goat chesse, like i was hesitant 2 try it but joe suggested the place and almost every1 ate there except heather, kelsey, and arielle, the chaperones even ate there, and i tried it, liek wow, it was awesome, u dipped bread in2, like it was real good, and i then i had this wrap they said it was chicken wrap, well, they 4got 2 mention all teh vegetables, it had everythin i usually don't like but it was awesome, u name a vegetable, and it was in there, lol, so amazina nad huge and the deserts were good, i walked aroun dw/ mary-claire, bought a lot of stuff, got money, we had fun, like it was amazin,t he village, all welcomin, like the owner of 1 store, like, he was like i luv george bush, i luv americans, u really don't expect 2 hear that overseas, and he was liek every1 who is a good person, any1 in thsi world, they're welcome, they're part of my family, it was like wow, such gr8 ppl, so then we went off 2 haifa, it's a port city on the northern coast of israel, the largest until i think tel aviv took ova, but it's hilly, and beautiful, nice sunny day, went 2 a place called leo baeck high school, and met w/ a lady named shelly, really nice, like we did this thing on our view of israel now that we'd been there 4 a week almost and like it was amazin, like my virew had changed so much, i'll copy out of the notebook "The Jewish State works for the embetterment of people; allows all faiths and tries to follow the Torah in keeping the peace; only violence is Palestinian provokedl the people all do survive for this state and they welcome other foreignersl the country is the most beautiful place I've ever been and probably will ever see." lol, real movin 2 me, but like then we went 2, spellin bad) this Amadiahlyah Muslim Community- they're a form of Muslim where the "jihad" or holy war is 2 take place in the heart of an Arab, like the guy couldn't speak english well but it was real mobvin, like we got 2 c where the muslim faith could go 2, it's like there's actualyl ppl out there that actually r arabs and r good ppl in the middle east, them and the druze, like it's awesome, then we went 2 an overlook of the port of haifa, liek ti was amazin so beautiful, could c up the coast 2 the lebanon border, and the city of akko, mroe on that in day 8, like the port is beautiful, like the city is industrialied, then we came up 2 the ba'hai (pronounced bi-hi)headquaters, liek a religion that takes everythin it beleives 2 b true from every religion and takes it 2 b true, like we met this guy who worked there from utah, nice 2 c a fellow american, but it was liek gorgeous, it was on the side of a hill, liek the city of haifa is very hilly, and liek it starts ont eh top of the hill and then goes all the way down i would say 20 meters 2 the city center, like it was beutful, al compared it 2 the gardens at the palace of versailles in france, lol, i would say even mroe beautiful, wow, lioke lol, so breaht-takin, all day was awesome, so we went bak 2 leo baeck, the high school, like so modernized, like we were all sayin how'd we luv 2 go 2 sckool there, i was talkin 2 shelly on the way up, like it housed 1500 kids, we were comparin sckools, and liek leo baeck is a high school but also 2 primary schools, a middle school, a communtiy center, and a Torah study center, like so modernized, like realllllll nice, lol, we discussed how the afternoon had gone, like we learned so much about co-existence, that was wat the whole program was about and it liked helped us all a lot learn bout co-existing peacefully but we still need help, lo,l, i said it was a very movin day and it still is in my day, my eyes opened 2 so much, like my own faith was touched, but i learned mroe bout history and then i realized my view of israel and how giood it is, and acceptance of other religions, especially the arab religion, liek wow, we traveled bak 2 nof ginosar after that, as we were leavin the city of haifa, i was on the fone w/ gammy and we went by the ba'hai gardens at the city center circle, and udi went around the circle like 6 times, every1 was cheerin, it was beautiful from the front but gammy was laughin and like she really saw how much fun we were havin, talked 2 aunt mary also, like she sounded astonished 2 hear from me in israel, like i wasn't real, we had a nice convo, and then got bak, ate dinner, like hung out in corey, matt, and tc's room , but that nite we bought tc a gift, lol, funny, and talked w/ jordan a lot, it was nice, got 2 no him a lot betta, but it was amazin, packed up and watched some nba all-star action in hebrew and english, lol, but a lot of fun
