People are up in arms about Google's new privacy policy, YES I have actually read it and I do understand the concern, but at the same time.. I don't. Most users of Google are all using the services anyways!
Google was already tracking you. You're not paranoid, The company is just being a bit more open about it now. The entire point of the unification is exactly what people have been asking for from company's like Facebook and Google for years.
Do you or I really care if Lattitude, Gmail and YouTube all share information with each other?. Well, yes I do but it's part of the cost of being online. Plus Google provides tools to allow us to somewhat control the type of information is publicly available.
So unless we spend a good chunk of time browsing the web like its 1995, Accept it and move on. I certainly don't plan on giving up my shared calendars, Gmail or Google documents, Do you?.
