Spring is here! Happy New Year!
Three months ago I was posting autumn pictures taken from our back door in my LJ, and suddenly now it's officially the first day of Spring, and here's what the same view looks like today.
And it is also the Day of the Indiction, or beginning of the New Ecclesiastical Year, and the day on which Orthodox Christians are called upon to pray for the natural environment and the preservation of God's creation, and to give thanks for it.
