Subtle Technologies was a fantastic festival: the presentations were generally challenging, informative and interesting; the people were fascinating; the party was a blast... Dr. Sharman burned up the dancefloor...
My presentation went well, although it paled in comparison to some of the others -- particularly “dielectric” and the presentations on stem cells, textile computing and DNA computation.
I’m taking a day to recover and do necessary chores before learning the ropes on the new imaging equipment... sounds like I’m going to be a technician-type-person on the camera and scanner for a couple of our projects soon...
Anyway, this has been sitting on the drawing board for way too long.
