What is the most important decision you've made in your life, and why?

Angels do not have free will in the same way as humans do. But still, everything we do, or do not do, implies a choice of some sort ( Read more... )

To choose to love is an even better decision than to just choose to live. I'm glad you made it. I'm glad I know you.

Better, but harder- and easier. As everything is.

And I'm glad you're far too stubborn to die. I should have known.

*nods* I know what you mean.

*laughs* Yep, too stubborn for that. I can't be shut up that easily. *grins*

*grins* Yes. Exactly.

Ah. Of course. Why didn't I guess. How silly of me.

Because if I didn't love, I wouldn't be me.

*smiles* And you're quite nice as you.

*wry half-smile* If you say so. I do try.

*grins* Well, there've been a few times I'd rather have liked to have strangled you, I admit, but overall...

Only a few? I think I've wanted to strangle myself more than that in a month alone...

...*quietly* I'm an arsehole. *slight grin, trying not to look nervous* Forgive me?

You seem - among many other things, of course - a copper of sorts. Would that be close or should I not have said anything?

Say what you like- really, but don't be surprised if I take offence if you a) abuse my dress sense or b) decide you want to learn the birds and the bees from me.

Ah, not exactly a 'copper', actually. I don't enforce God's laws, nor do I judge. I pass along His message and I help people understand and follow as best as I can. I leave the flaming sword to Michael- I much prefer words.

Right. I'll keep that in mind, then, though neither are likely; I learned the birds and the bees long ago and the only clothes I wear with any frequency - save my uniform - are ones that even I despise, so I'm not in any position to abuse anyone else's dress sense. Though perhaps "off the mark" would have been a better turn of phrase.

Ah. You talk a bit like one, though.

Samuel Vimes, Commander of the Ankh-Morpork Watch. Nice to meet you.

Good to know.

Mr. Vimes. Same to you.

I talk like one? How exactly? *grins, amused* Is that why you thought I was one? I've been called a lot over the years... please, I'd like to know.

Would you mind if I asked you what's most likely a stupid question?

metatron_tm March 21 2004, 10:54:40 UTC
You can ask but I can't say I won't laugh if it really is.

*grins* Fair enough. I just wondered; did Moses actually have a lisp?

Any particular reason?
