when the bed goes in, I think he will (Mo's room even more done)

Not quite a month ago I posted an update about Mo's room. I left off saying (and will now cross off):
* adhesive (this is proving horribly tricky)
* window hardware
* touch-up paint by fan
* register grill installed
* clean up

Also done:
* door knob installed
* second coat urethane in loft (after some sanding)
* touched up glow-in-dark paint
* oiled the bare rafters (these could use some more oil sometime)

The new punch list (just for his room) looks like this and almost certainly won't happen in this order:
* door stop
* peg and urethane threshold
* rope railing
* last outlet cover
* ladder(s)  (I think we cancelled the trapdoor idea but I am not sure about the sliding pole he wants :P )
* jacks & jack cover x2
* chalkboard
* furniture in (may require some cleaning, painting and/or assembling. May also require shopping, but I hope not.)
* birds in
* Mo!

For ref: The Original List

I'm sure it appears that I've been doing art rather than working in his room, and to some extent that's true in that I can do art and quiet things in the evenings. We've also been slowly trying to finish the siding on the upper deck (removed to install rubber membranes to prevent [please!] further water/ice damage-that's required new trim cut and dadoed in intriguing [GAH!] ways. We've also been tweaking the attic: gable vents mean needing to move/redo what's insulated and how/where. It also means critters, which means more screening and hardware cloth! Plus normal fall chores, and all the regular day-to-day things. It's not all dilly-dallying. Though some is, of course. (Eureka is a silly show!)

busy nattering chickens, far too much gear, plan it!, home & hearth
