I was about to comment and say that Harry's wand is listed wrong.

But...it's right in the original entry. *confusion*

Well, I did say it was the Alternative Universe Cineplex.:)

Srsly: Obviously, marsgov fixed the error two seconds after I made the post. Now I have corrected the post. I considered editing your memory of the error as well but I seem to have forgotten the spell...

Haha, I was so confused! I was like, does cut and paste have a sense of humor?

(Obliviate.)

I'm waiting for the one where Hogwarts hits an iceberg and sinks.

The Dirty Harry wand joke also got used in a Harry Turtledove novel. Case of the Toxic Spelldump, I believe.

Paraphrased: "I know the CIA gives you spooks all kinds of high level protection charms. But that's mostly against Christian and Arabic magic. This is a Magan David Special. This wand contains the fire that smote Sodom and Gommorah. So ask yourself, are you feeling lucky? Are ya?"

Great book, figured I might as well plug it since it came to mind. Doesn't make the entry any less funny.

It gets used in one of the Pratchett's about the Nightwatch too, about how much fire a dragon has in it.

Good stuff, good stuff...

Actually, it immediately made me go to Clue: "One plus two plus two plus one..." "Ah, but one plus two plus ONE plus one..." "One plus two plus...SHUT UP!"

Good call! That was a great scene in a great movie. I should go see if I have that on DVD. And if not, I should go get that on DVD. *looks at time* In the morning, that is.
