Do you know what "reconciliation" and "deem and pass" mean, and what they were meant for?
Do you know that this administration and Congress no longer care what the Constitution says, and how they intend to effect a power grab of Biblical proportions while thumbing their noses at the Constitution and the rule of law?
Did you hear the president say that the people aren't concerned with how they get things done in Washington?
First we had politicians voting for thousand page spending bills they didn't read, now we have politicians passing 2,700 page bills they didn't vote for!
Do you realize that everything the Democrats have been denying about the purpose of healthcare "reform" is going to happen, and that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi just said there will be additional legislation to come now that they have "kicked open the door"?
You cannot believe anything these people promise anymore, so flagrant are their deceits. They will say anything to get you to go along with them, will use your money, or your grandchildren's money to bribe each other to support their agendas.
Do you realize that the radicals, who want to control every aspect of your life, are chomping at the bit to transform America into their vision of a utopian dream?
Little-by-little, the private sector will be destroyed or absorbed into an ever intrusive and expanding government intent on dictating who wins, who loses, who gives and who gets, who steps to the front of the line and who gets sent back.
Joe Biden just said that they will control the insurance companies, and President Obama is attacking the insurance companies again, the very companies that have actually been supporting reform, along wih the drug companies who have fallen for his false promises.
He accuses us of "throwing a lot of stuff" in criticism of the bill (illegal coverage for illegal immigrants, "death panels", abortion benefits, government takeover) but he doesn't reallydeny we are right! Because, as you will find out we are! Why do you think the entire Hispanic caucus and pro-choice lobbies are FOR the bill? Why do you think 70% of seniors are against it?
Why do you think people who work for the government or get a government check are for it? Why do you think businesses (like Caterpillar) are scared to death because they're going to have to come up with hundreds of millions of dollars and are laying off more employees because they simply can't afford the increases in their costs?
Guess what? The whole idea is to DESTROY private coverage and FORCE you into a government system down the road. Obama and other Democrats have said so. Why do you think Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich-D, who favors a socialized healthcare system flipped his vote in favor of ObamaCare part 1?
Do you realize that the government will control college loans - eventually determining who gets them, what schools the recipients will go to, what they will take ... all in an effort to "correct" imbalances in society?
Do you see how, already, the control freaks are trying to tax and/or forbid things like salt and sugar, how eventually they will be able to monitor your entire life and behavior patterns which will determine what you "get" from the government or what you'll have to "pay"?
Yeah, I know. I've been hearing the cries of "fear-monger" for three years, and everything I've been warning about is happening. That's the way it works with the left. The hide who they are and what they want to do to get into positions of power. They have to, because the vast majority of people have no interest in their true agendas.
Expose their intentions and they cry "No, no, no no, no ..." and then when it happens they cry, "So what? What's so bad about that?"
When I was a kid and studied history, I was always stupefied that whole populations "allowed" tyranny to rise in countries when it could have been stopped. I wondered how the people could be so gullible, how they embraced propaganda, and allowed their lives to be controlled so willingly.
