Supernatural randomness

Nov 06, 2010 22:56

I will do anything to procrastinate on the paper I haven’t started yet that’s due Tuesday.  In this case, I went trolling for memes, and found one.

Who is your favorite Supernatural character?  Sammich!!

Who is your favorite Winchester?  See above.

Who is your favorite supporting character?  Gonna have to go with Cas.

Who is your favorite Dean love interest?  LISA.

Who is your favorite Sam love interest?  SARAH.

Who is your least favorite Supernatural character?  John Winchester.

Young John or old John?   Young for sure.  He wasn’t a total, irredeemable asshole then.  No offense to JDM.

Young Mary or old Mary?  Hmm...younger Mary I guess.  Primarily because older Mary knew she made the deal with YED, and didn’t try to do anything about it.  But she’s also adorable.  So...I don’t know.

Lilith or Ruby?  Ruby.  Just because, love her or hate her, she was a conniving bitch whose plan succeeded.  Lilith was just...snarky.

Blonde Ruby or Brunette Ruby?  Blonde Ruby.  But Gen over Katie IRL.

Bobby or Castiel?  Considering I hate (okay, perhaps not hate, but greatly dislike) Bobby, and I adore Cas, I’ll go for the latter.

Bela or Gordon?  Um...Bela?  I guess?

YED or Lucifer?   YED, unless we’re talking about Samifer.  In which case, Samifer.

The best episode to watch when you’re bored?  Any of them really, but a go-to one for me is “Tall Tales” for the hilarity.

The best episode to watch when you’re angry?  “Provenance,” because it makes me instantly happy.  Sam/Sarah OTP forever!

Best episode to watch when you’re sad?  “What Is and What Should Never Be,” or the ending scene of “All Hell Breaks Loose, Part I”/beginning scene of its successor.

Best episode to watch to get scared?  “BLOODY MARY.”  HOLY SHIT.

Best episode to make you laugh?  “Tall Tales.”

Best episode to make you cry?  See “Best episode to watch when you’re sad.”

Mystery Spot or Changing Channels?  “Mystery Spot”...oh, Sammy.

Ghostfacers or Hell House?  That’s a hard one.  I guess I’ll go with “Ghostfacers,” because it allowed the boys to swear.  And I have a swearing kink.

Pilot or Swan Song?  “Pilot,” just because I can regularly watch that episode from beginning to end, whereas with “Swan Song,” I tend to only watch a couple of scenes.

Hunted or Fresh Blood?  “Fresh Blood.”  That motel room scene kills me every time.

Bad Day at Black Rock or Yellow Fever?  “Bad Day at Black Rock.”  So, so fantastically lulzy.

Skin or Born Under a Bad Sign?  Psh.  Easiest one ever.  “BORN UNDER A BAD SIGN.”  EVIL SAM FTW.

The Usual Suspects or Folsom Prison Blues?  “The Usual Suspects,” ’cause it involved sneaky, badass Sam.

Nightshifter or Jus In Bello?  “Nightshifter.”  As much as I love the latter episode, “Nightshifter” is just flat-out awesome.

Croatoan or The End?  “The End.”

Dead Man’s Blood or Bloodlust?  “Bloodlust,” because I love the idea of good vampires and loved Lenore in general, plus “Dead Man’s Blood” has John in it, so...

No Exit or Route 666?  Neither, but considering “No Exit” is by far my least favorite episode, I’ll go with “Route 666” I suppose.

Phantom Traveler or Everybody Loves a Clown?  “Everybody Loves a Clown,” because even though it freaks me out (I share Sam’s coulrophobia), it has a delicious amount of angst.  Although Dean’s plane freakout is a classic.

Hollywood Babylon or Fallen Idols?  “Hollywood Babylon.”  You know an episode is bad when Paris Hilton isn’t the worst part of it.

The Kids Are Alright or I Believe The Children Are Our Future?  “The Kids Are Alright,“ ’cause it introduced Lisa and Ben, and it had skeevy little kids.  I do think Jesse is one of the cutest kids ever, though.

Asylum or Sam, Interrupted?  “Asylum.”  I liked “Sam, Interrupted,” but the former episode is downright creepy.

In My Time of Dying or Death Takes a Holiday?  “In My Time of Dying.”

In the Beginning or The Song Remains the Same?  “The Song Remains the Same.”  Despite it’s heartbreakingness.

The Benders or Family Remains?  “The Benders.”  “Family Remains” is a very meh episode for me.

What Is and What Should Never Be or It’s a Terrible Life?  “What Is and What Should Never Be,” for sure!

The Monster at the End of This Book or The Real Ghostbusters?  “The Monster at the End of This Book.”  It introduced the glorious weirdness of the Supernatural book ’verse.

Tall Tales or Wishful Thinking?  The suicidal teddy bear is fantastic, but “Tall Tales” owns my heart in this regard.

All Hell Breaks Loose I and II or No Rest for the Wicked?  “All Hell Breaks Loose, Parts I and II.”  Sam’s death and Dean’s reactions to it are just...guh.

Dream a Little Dream of Me or Dark Side of the Moon?  “Dark Side of the Moon,” even though I wanted to slap Dean multiple times throughout it.

The Magnificent Seven or Hammer of the Gods?  “Hammer of the Gods.”  “The Magnificent Seven” isn’t an episode I like all that much.

On the Head of a Pin or Point of No Return?  I do have an affinity for “On the Head of a Pin,” but “Point of No Return” is near-perfect.  Plus: Adam.

Sex and Violence or My Bloody Valentine?  “My Bloody Valentine.”  Sex scenes always make me feel voyeuristic (as fantastic as Jared looks with his shirt off), and that one made me rather angry, whereas “My Bloody Valentine” I loved from beginning to end.  Famine is one creepy son of a bitch, and the ending scene with Dean begging to God broke me.

The Curious Case of Dean Winchester or Swap Meat?  “The Curious Case of Dean Winchester.”  Not only did it have another instance of a not-oft-seen badass Sam, but it was actually decent, whereas “Swap Meat” I felt was pretty pointless.  I think Jared should’ve played both Sam-as-Sam and Sam-as-Gary.  That teaser was genius, but the rest was a clusterfuck.

Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid or Weekend at Bobby’s?  “Weekend at Bobby’s,” I guess...

Lazarus Rising or Exile On Main Street?  “Exile at Main Street,” though I would’ve liked Sam to appear before a third through the episode.

Your favorite episode of season one?  “Provenance,” of course!

Your favorite episode of season two?  “Born Under a Bad Sign” and “What Is and What Should Never Be.”

Your favorite episode of season three?  “Mystery Spot” or “A Very Supernatural Christmas.”

Your favorite episode of season four?  Erm...“When the Levee Breaks.”  By far some of the best work Jared’s ever done.

Your favorite episode of season five?  “The End,” “Dark Side of the Moon,” or “Point of No Return.”

Your favorite episode of season six (so far)?  “Clap Your Hands If You Believe...”

Your favorite Dean moment?  Oh, lordy.  Um.  I’ll go with when he was talking to John’s grave in “What Is and What Should Never Be.”  One of the very few (or perhaps the only) scenes in Supernatural that makes me cry every single viewing.

Your favorite Dean quote?  Not sure if it’s my favorite quote (goddamn there are a lot), but it morbidly amuses me, so: “What do you want me to do, Sam, huh?  Sit around all day writing sad poems about how I’m gonna die?  You know what, I’ve got one.  Let’s see, what rhymes with ‘Shut up, Sam’?”

Your favorite Sam moment?  Either the entire scene with Jo when he’s possessed in “Born Under a Bad Sign” or, you know, this.

Or this:

Your favorite Sam quote?  Again, there’s a gajillionty to choose from, but I think I’ll go with: “Dude, I’m not enabling your sick habit.  You’re like one of those lab rats that pushes the pleasure button instead of the food button ’til it dies.”  Or: “Okay, okay, you want the truth?  Here it is, God’s honest: [Veritas] was right.  There’s something wrong with me.  Really wrong.  I’ve known it for a while.  I’ve lied to you, yeah, and I let you get turned by that vamp.  Because I knew there was a cure, Dean, and we needed in that nest!  And I knew you could handle it!  [...]  That [you could’ve killed Ben] should stop me cold, but I...I just don’t feel it.  [...]  Ever since I came back, I am a better hunter than I’ve ever been!  Nothing scares me anymore, ’cause I can’t feel it!  I don’t know what’s wrong with me.  I think...I need help.”  Of course, Dean then proceeded to be an asshole.  -__-

Your favorite brotherly moment?  Oh gosh.  No idea.  Maybe when they double-team the shtriga in “Something Wicked”?  THERE’S TOO MANY.

Your favorite Castiel moment?  When he’s totally plastered in “99 Problems.”  I do so love drunk Cas.

Your favorite Castiel quote?  “Not you.  Or me.  Sam, of course, is an abomination.”  LOVE.

Your favorite Bobby moment?  Can I say none?

Your favorite Bobby quote?  “Balls!”

Your favorite pop culture reference?  I got a kick out of them emulating KITT and making it the Sampala.  That amused me.

Your favorite sex scene?  Sam and Madison’s, I suppose.

Your favorite Mystery Spot Death? “Hey, buddy!  Does somebody need a friend?”

Your favorite music moment?  “Silent Lucidity” by Queensrÿche, played at the end of “Heart,” when Sam had to kill Madison. I’d say the scene I now associate with this song makes it get me more than the song itself, to be perfectly honest. Whenever I hear the song and picture Sam crying (made worse by knowing it was Jared thinking of his dogs dying), picture Dean’s flinch at the gunshot, it just hurts. In a good way, but still.

Dean’s sexiest moment/quote?  This:

Sam’s sexiest moment/quote?  This:

Shapeshifters or Vampires?  Shapeshifters.  Vamps are kind of annoying.  And shapeshifters are all so delightfully snarky.

Ghosts or Tulpas?  Ghosts.  The concept of tulpas is cool, but we haven’t really seen enough of it to swing away from the ghosts.

Angels or Demons?  Angels, in general.

Your ideal Supernatural episode?  A crossover with Psych.  I would die of the amazingness of that episode.

Your ideal Winchester Date:  Sam, anywhere, anytime.  :D

Your favorite death?  I think I’ll cite the Dean’s Golden Retriever death again.  That shit was hilarious.

Your least favorite death?  Bobby’s.  Not because he died, but because he didn’t stay dead.

Your favorite demon?  Crowley!

Your favorite weapon?  That curved knife of Sam’s that we saw only in promo pictures and about five frames of the pilot episode.

Most shocking moment?  The reveal at the end of “Family Matters” wherein we find out that Crowley’s not only calling the shots, but he has Sam’s soul, and has no intent to give it back any time soon.

The saddest moment?  Probably when Dean has to leave the dream world in “What Is and What Should Never Be.”  That whole episode made my heart hurt.

The most disappointing moment?  When we find out Sam’s been drinking demon blood.

The funniest moment?  I’ll let a gif tell you.

The scariest moment?  All of “Bloody Mary.”  Fuuuuck.  That episode.

The sexiest moment?  Um.

Your least favorite episode?  “No Exit,” explained further here.

Your favorite episode?  More or less a tie between “Born Under a Bad Sign” and “What Is and What Should Never Be.”
