I've always wanted to read a fic where Fred and George "meet" some of the marauders, so this was an absolute treat to read! You've really done a good job - not only was it humorous, but I really like your portrayal of all the characters.
Excellent - a very fun read.

Thanks, it's easy to go OOC when you're trying to make things funny but the situation wrote itself, really, so I wasn't too worried!

I liked the combination of humour and poignancy too.

Yay! I did want every single character to have their time in the spotlight, especially since the beginning of the scene is mainly about the twins and Sirius.

That's good, because I did wonder if the mood shifted too abruptly, but when have you have OotP!Sirius in the story, that does tend to happen.
Thanks very much for your review!

Anyway, this is lovely and fun; I've always wanted to read the twins finding out Remus and Sirius are behind the Map, and this is just perfect. I really love seeing Remus being proud to be a Marauder whilst doing his best to be an adult. It's cute that he seems buoyed by the hero worship enough to flirt with Tonks.
The dark dimensions to Sirius' moods are very well conveyed, too, and I really like how you've done that through Tonks' POV, where her gentleness and compassion really shine through. It's so easy to see how Remus would look on that from aside and fall for her.
And I hope you write more R/T, because you've captured the chemistry of they're not-together-but-definitely-interested chemistry quite deliciously!
Really nice work!

"Tonks wondered if Lupin realised what a compliment it was that they all liked him so much. Probably not: low self-esteem was another thing she’d noticed about him, though he hid it well."
That was a really good sentence because it really brought me back to when JKR said that Remus really likes to be liked. It seems really right to me to think that Remus would really like being liked but never really know when people liked him. I like that you retained the concept too, when Remus says:
“There’s a reason it was ‘Padfoot and Prongs’,” he said quietly. “It was always James and Sirius. I may be his friend, but I’m not James… and that’s who he really wants.”
Oh Remus! I just want to hug him!
Good job!

He's never quite learned to recognise when he's loved and appreciated. I'm betting that when Harry said "you're the best Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher we've ever had", his immediate thought was "well, look at who's taught you" and he didn't even think of the implication that nearly all his students loved him and would have fought for him ( ... )
