Comment to this post and I will give you 5 subjects/things I associate with you. Then post this in your LJ and elaborate on the subjects given. But also, since I'm bored/procrastinating, if anyone else wants to give me some, I will do those as well.

1. dead languages - I don't even know how this happened. I decided to randomly take Latin my freshman year because it would maybe help with Biology (which was my major at the time) and I've always thought it was cool and geeky. Now Bio and I are totally broken up (it was an abusive relationship), and all of sudden I'm taking Latin and Ancient Greek and majoring in Classical language and literature. Life.
2. Michigan - I have a love/hate relationship with Michigan. It is mostly hate though, especially now when all it has to offer me is snow and cold and unemployment. Thanks Michigan!
3. green - Green's my favorite color. Actually, I had to force myself to like green the best. This is a ridiculous story. So, blue used to be my favorite color. But, when bitter_crimson and I were younger, we made up these... alternate personalities for ourselves (they were our own Sailor Scouts, ok? Shut up.) and Kim picked a water-based identity. Which meant zie had to be blue. So I picked a earth-based one, and had to be green. From then on, I used green for everything. Eventually I did start loving it the best, and yeah. That's that.
4. Diwali - So this is the Indian New Year, but for Jains especially (which my family is), it is also a celebration of the day our last god achieved nirvana. This is a ~big deal~. Except, I'm the most un-Indian Indian ever. I don't usually even know when Diwali is. (It changes, ok! It's sometime in the fall.) The last few years my celebration has consisted of my non-Indian friends telling me it's Diwali, and us all going to an Indian restaurant. What better way to celebrate religious holidays than eating things we're not supposed to eat? Mm, garlic.
5. Lorelai with her laptop - I only have one Lorelai icon, so I have to use it whenever I talk to wizened_cynic about anything related to Lorelai/Gilmore Girls or Alex/SVU (I know that connection makes no sense to most of you, but just.. take my word). Since that happens an awful lot, I'm not surprised she associates it with me.
I had two midterms today. That means only Latin is left (which I might as well give up on), and then I get to see Lauren and have Spring Break and I CAN'T WAIT.
Ok I am going to take a nap now, probably.
