This upcoming week is going to suck hard, so that can only mean more posting from Ami as she procrastinates. Studying for Greek? Hah! .. like it would help at all. I'm fucked.
I hope everyone had a decent Valentine's Day! I did. My friend Megan had brunch at her house with some friends. There was a ton of good food and mimosas (which were less actual mimosas and more champagne with a drop of orange juice. We had something like 12 people and went through maybe 8-9 bottles of champagne. *cough*). After that, I saw my sister, and then visited my brother. Sonali's still a little cutie, in case you were wondering. Overall, pretty good day.
Also, I hope everyone watched Dollhouse. If you did not, watch it on Hulu or on Fox's website. It needs our support - I mean it's on FOX, for goodness sake. I think it was a very intriguing pilot - a little heavy on exposition and a little experimental in style but it's a pilot, so I'm sure those minor flaws will smooth out in weeks to come. Also for those of you who tune in for the pretty, there's something for everyone. Either you get Eliza in leather, Eliza in librarian chic, or Tahmoh shirtless and sweaty. Pick your poison. Also, bonus set pretty.
In honor of the postage prices rising again, I'm going to try writing postcards and/or letters to random people during my Spring Break (February 20th - March 1st). Knowing me, it won't actually happen. But if it does, don't be scared if you randomly receive something from me. It's not anthrax. Probably.
Speaking of Spring Break, Lauren (abunchofcrap) is visiting me during it! I'm really excited for this. I don't know what exactly to do, but Ann Arbor is much more fun than home, so I'm sure we'll find something. I was thinking we could do a concert at one of the local venues since they're usually around 10-15 dollars, and maybe browse the random college-y shops around campus. We'll see I guess! After that weekend, I'm going back home, and my sister-in-law Bindi's family is flying in from London for Sonali's first birthday. Her siblings are a ton of fun, so I'm looking forward to that as well.
