(no subject)
I've written about 4 entries since the last one, but they've all sucked and since I don't HAVE to post daily anymore, I feel bad posting sucky entries. So they were deleted and never posted. Here is attempt number 5. If tThis entry sucks too... There's nothing I can do :(
It makes me sad when people don't like the stuff I love. And I know, everyone's different, that's good, diversity yay. And of course I respect people's varying opinions and all that, but... it's just better when they agree with me. You know? But it's okay! I will love my stupid cheesy things either way.
Speaking of varying tastes... like half my friends list has gone to see Pirates of the Caribbean. I do want to see the movie, but I'm really not that excited for it. Sequels almost always suck. But they're all really pretty, and you can't resist the pretty. (Though I still don't think Johnny Depp is really all that. *coughs*)
A while ago, as you may remember, I was obsessed with getting every single issue of the Buffy comics. I began to lose hope of approaching my goal when everywhere I checked the issues were not in stock and I had random holes in my collection. Yesterday, however, I took further action in my quest. After nearly 3 hours of comparison shopping and splitting up of my orders for the best shipping deals... I now only have 4 issues (plus a few extras) remaining to fill up the Dark Horse run of Buffy:
I can probably get these if I keep an eye out on Ebay:

Willow and Tara: Wannablessedbe

Though, technically if I'm going to be really hardcore, I should also get these Dark Horse collections that have random bits of Buffy or Angel in them. Lone Star Comics had them in stock, but I wasn't sure I wanted them that badly.

Okay, I know that looks like I still need a lot. But I've done SO WELL. I have 118 of the 122 Dark Horse single issues. PLUS 5 of the 8 random Dark Horse collections featuring Buffy material. It's harder to tally the IDW comics since they're still being released, but I have about half of those. Once I fill my collection, I'll post the full contents. Don't hold your breath though, that could take a while.
Of course the best part will be actually getting to READ them. I've forced myself to wait until I have them all. Until then, I'll have to read all those DC/Marvel Comics Kim wants me to read. ^_^;
Oh, I can't believe I almost forgot!! DOCTOR WHO SEASON FINALE TONIGHT!!! I'm so excited. Mostly because I just want to see how they pull this off. With Rose and Torchwood and Daleks and Cybermen and Davros?! Yeah, it should be goooood times.
